All attribute to thinning the blood, and I take PLENTY of all of them.
Should I stop my supplements for a couple days??

Well, you answered the question.
Again, docs should be able to help BUT it might take a test, then off those (+ perhaps other) supps for a certain amount of time then a retest.
Then...going back on some supps + continue to moniter + fine tune. Some docs may not want to do all this. Some may say no supps just drugs...
Hope you have a doc with both a brain + a heart + has some patience.

massman,
When u say test, are u referring to monitoring my bruising while off supplements?
Or, are you referring to a specific test they would want to try?
LOL, I dunno how much patience they have for me... I'm trying to do a lot by myself.

I bruise easily and I have low ferritin--well, last I checked.
Thinning the blood is a good thing, no? Helps battling biofilms?

I googled Lyme disease + bruising. One answer that came up as a possible cause was Erlichiosis, one of the co-infections.

NO expert here. Wolfed Out, I understand the Vit E, garlic, turmeric, and oils are beneficial for most -- most of the time. Surgeons ask patients to stop these prior to surgery to avoid complications from possible failure to clot.
You need to talk to a healthcare professional familiar with your case, or at least call an "Ask A Nurse" hotline available thru many hospitals. Doesn't your LLMD have an answering service?
Try calling a 24-hr pharmacy and ask the pharmacist if your abx could be causing the symptoms your having. I'd be less inclined to stop the abx so you can continue tx.
On a calmer note, could you eat a light snack (small amt of rice crackers w/ soothing herbal tea) and tuck yourself in bed, then wake to get a new perspective on your health?

I feel like I've heard 'bartonella' with this one also, though I put that into the rumor category as I don't know all that much about it.
I had this symptom out of the blue when I was a teen = I think I'd actually gotten Lyme or bartonella and that this was one of the sequelae after I 'got over' the active phase of the illness. I didn't have healthcare at the time and my parent was out of town, so I went went to my local pharmacist and he suggested niacin. The easy bruising went away after a few weeks although I have no idea if the niacin really had anything to do with it or if it was just part of the 'weird illnesses' that I was having.
But the easy bruising was really creepy- if I was horsing around with other kids and someone grabbed my arm I'd get instant bruises where their fingertips had been.

Testing would moniter how quickly your blood clots.
sickpup - too thin is not healthy either.

I've always heard that bruising easily was a symptom of BABESIA. It's on the list.
Strange.. I don't see it on the list, but I know I've heard it over and over here that the bruising is a sign of babesia. It has many negative effects on the blood.

I just started bruising very easily (from clapping my hands at a showa). I do the heparin flushes and LD has me taking a baby aspirin a day.
I thought it was maybe from my blood getting too thin. He said Vit K.

WO, I also used to bruise very easily, without bumping into things. When my blood is drawn I used to bruise at the spot but only for less than 24 hours. I reported this to my LLMD. He asked me if I am taking enought Vit C, tested for Platelets and Ferritin. My Ferritin was very low and started supplementing with Iron. Since then did not observe any bruising. Before that my bruise used to resist for like months I guess.
I did not had the blood test since I started supplementing with Iron, next week I am going to have it and if I observe any bruise in the area I will let you know.

Thanks for posting the vitamin C issue.Vitamin C is important, I am very low on C. Also protein is needed.
Red dots and bruising can be chlamydia pneumonia and red dots can be a sign of lymphoma. Beta 2 microglobulin is a good marker.
