there is a website which sells the herbs and liquid herbs called susan ambrosino.
they also sell what they call a 100 day protocol for lyme. it's supposed to have all the herbs and everything combined in one pill.
i'm not sure of the dosage.
has anybody looked at this or taken it? i'm wondering if it would be worth it.
she is not a doctor or treating physician so i think i can pretty much enter this.

I think they used to show the ingredients and it was basically just Buhner Protocol, just more expensive, and the doses are too small for most people's needs (looks like they now have one that includes some of the Cowden protocol herbs, but without knowing more about it, I wouldn't waste money). The 100-day part is a gimmick- there are many biological reasons why you need to treat Lyme for more than 3 months. Buhner's book talks a lot about why you need high doses of some of the component herbs. The dosages that the 100 day protocol includes are too low for some of those herbs.
I'm sure there are some people who feel somewhat better at 3 months of treatment but there's no way that it's adequate for most cases of chronic Lyme, at least not with either Buhner or Cowden herbs or any other herbal protocol I've heard of.

i took it during my lyme treatment and thought it was great. i called and spoke to derek at myherbs.com first and he was a wealth of info. regarding lyme and herbs.
i don't think it is really meant to only take it 100 days unless it was pretty early lyme. the longer you have the lyme, most likely the longer it is to treat it! i took it with abx. when i was treating an active infection.
