How much mepron usually run? And also plaqunil and azithromax? Thanks in advance. Asking for a friend, not for myself. She's just extremely busy so I thought I would ask for her.
Thanks everyone.

W/o insurance, anywhere from $1,200 to $1,500+ per month. Dosage plays a part too. 4 tsp a day gets VERY expensive.
Sixgoofykids said many times she got all her bottles for $40 or $25 per month. Lucky!! If insured, cost share will/can vary drastically.

After joining wallgrees for $25 / yr. Mepron is under 700 (originally quoted over 900), zith is 90 / 9 day supply. Less expensive than Wallmart, CVS and Canadian pricing.

Azithromycin should be much cheaper than that. It used to be about $250/month a bunch of years ago, and is now closer to $60/month (and I'm talking about retail prices, not the price some people with insurance pay)
WalMart and Costco are the cheapest pharmacies generally, with Target often also in that category. You don't need a membership to use Costco's pharmacy. Most of the CVS/Rite-Aid/Walgreens type places tend to be more expensive.

Oh and CVS will run prescriptions through a discount card too though, at least the one here will.
One of my scripts was originally $56 and she ran it through some discount card and it came out it $14. So for anyone using CVS w/o insurance maybe ask about this.

A discount program www.pscard.com saves me a lot of money.
The site allows you to do a search on prices and you can print out a card to use right away.

The pharmaceutical company paid for mine and so my dr charged me $50 dollars for the mepron plus shipping since he didn't have it shipped to me, he got it for free through some progam for people who cant afford it yet didn't hesitate charging me a ridiculous amount for anything he did. I get they have bills too but that one just seemed very unfair, it was a one papar application and his signature. Ask the doctor if they can get her into that program and maybe the doctor will be cool and not charge her.
Good luck, Cat

catnippy, your doctor charged you for medication that was given to you for free from the drug manufacturer? That sounds illegal and so very wrong.
