I have adrenal failure and am struggling to find an abx I can tolerate to treat my systemic bartonella infection.

I can't take: Rifampin, Zythromax, Erythromyacin, Biaxin, Floroquinolones, Levaquin, Flagyl.

I can tolerate Bactrim in small amounts for short periods only.

-Has anyone had success with other abx not listed here to treat Bart Or Natural meds?

-Does Pyrazinamid, streptomyacin, ciprofloxin kill Bartonella?

Any thoughts are much appreciated!

Thanks,
Paulette

You could get a hold of a Rife machine and run the following radio frequencies, which are very slow, low-level and in Hertzes.

They seem to work for me; however, i did not test positive for Bartonella and did not have the typical, obvious signs of Bart. These frequencies are from the CAFL list; i run them every day, one minute each, 18 minutes total; my head starts feeling worse if i fail to run them:

364 379 645 654 786 840 842 844 846 848 850 857 967 6878 634 696 716 1518

You could also try the Dr Zhang herb Houttuynia.

You can buy it at www.hepapro.com/ .

You could also try the Bartonella homeopathic series from DesBio. That's at www.desbio.com/ . I heard second-hand that some people had some success with it.

I am currently taking Bactrim and biaxin for Bart
seems to work well, I did zith and bactrim for 3 months, hit a plateau and now doing bactrim with
biaxin and that is going well. I am thinking a total of eight months to finish treating Bart. So I have 4 more months to go. I have slight elevation of LFT's so am hoping to avoid rifampin
for now. Anyway bactrim and ceftin might work.

You can use Bactrim DS with zithromax or biaxin or roxythromycine (can't buy in US). Houttynia does not work. I took up to 20 capsuls a day, Neither does cumanda or toa free cat's claw (Samento). I haven't tried desbio products. Dr. Buhner recommends andrographis and resveratrol.

If you can tolerate cipro it will work but it is a lot more dangerous than Bactrim.. Levaquin and Factive are in the same family as cipro and I think all the drugs in this family can cause tendonitis.

Maybe you could take the herbs, like andrographis and resveratro (get Buhner's book) and pulse the abx so that you are not overwhelmed by them. The first time I took andrographis I had a strong herx. It really affected my bladder.

I am currently taking Bactrim DS and biaxin, zithro OR roxy twice every day and tendamax twice a week ( it gets the cyst form of lyme but also seems to help with bart).

I also take andrographis, resveratrol for bart, and cysteine, lactoferrin and nattokinase for the bio film protecting bart. People have suggested other herbs for bio film you might consider.
