Ive posted before about my situation but recently have had a new symptom.
Im going to see a LLMD next monday. I had lymes and was treated 2 years ago but have had suffering symptoms for the past 2 years.

So within past 2 months my tounge has become more sensative, taste has decreased, and I have had loss of feeling in tounge sort of, not really numbness but a loss a feeling in different areas of my face and within the past week it has been in my chest.

I did go to ER and was put on same meds as when I contracted Bell's Palsy but these feelings are different from what I can remember. The bell's struck me and left my face paralyzed within a week.. This has been bothering me for about a 45-60 days.
Are these symptoms of any co-infections?

Thanks for responders!

These are symptoms of lyme disease. They are called neuropathies. They can occur anywhere on the body.

Look at the Burrascano lyme treatment guidelines. Starting on page 26, he lists the symptoms that go with lyme disease and with each coinfection.

It is under the section called "Sorting Out the Coinfections."

There is a lot of overlap in symptoms between lyme and the coinfections. But, these are the distinguishing symptoms.

Also, notice there is no "s" on the word "lyme."

On page 28, Burrascano says to take Vitamin B to help with neuropathies. You may want to take a look at that page.

I agree with TF. It is a symptom of lyme but it could also be associated with many other infections. It is caused by nerve damage.

I had lost feeling in my fingers, toes and mouth. I was always getting blisters in my mouth and on my fingers because I could never tell when something was too hot. That changed a lot the first few years of treatment and now I can tell when something is too hot.
