Does anyone have trouble with hair loss? It is jut not falling out, but breaking off, very close to the scalp. I don't know whether it is from the lyme itself, or from antibiotics, or some autoimmune response. But as a 40 yo woman, I am scared I will look bald soon.

Check: Adrenals Thyroid Iron, Ferritin
Supplementing B vitamins may help a little.

Yes. Mine started doing that even before treatment. Fortunately, it's all grown back in now, but it was like starting over with a new head of hair! I kept having the bottom cut off until all the bad hair was grown out.
I did need both thyroid and iron. I also supplement B vitamins, as already suggested.

My hair took a hit too; I bought Biotin (which is the hair, scalp and nails "B" group). Also, believe it or not the shampoos like "Nioxin" really help.
I know how you feel; everythng else is going-can we please just keep our hair?!

I swtiched to Nioxin already, and just got some biotin. Did it help?

My daughter's hair was falling out for a while. I was worried she would go bald, but it stopped on its own before that happened.

I think it has. I definately have new hair growth (even my hairdresser has noticed) and it has been about three months since on the biotin.

I lose hair-I thought it was a pregnant thing-then I thought it was a I just had the baby thing-then it never stopped. I still have hair loss but it's slowing down a bit.
