I know this is probably a dumb question, and I posted it with another question but I think it got burried. My PCP ran this test and it doesn't say what it is. I just assumed it was Western Blot.

Lyme Total Ab less than 0.91 f (range 0.00-0.90)
Lyme Ab Interp 1 negative
Lyme Ab Interp 2 deleted result
Lyme Ab Igm less than 0.91 (range 0.00-0.90)
Lyme IgM Interp 1 Negative
Lyme IgM Interp 2 deleted result

I dont know which lab it was done at but I know it was NOT Ingenex. Probably lab corp

No, that is not the Western Blot. When using labcorp/quest you must specifically request: Lyme, Western Blot (IgM/IgG). Do you think your PCP will run it again??

Make sure to note the correct wording on the paperwork submitted with the bloodwork.

I showed it to my LLMD and he didnt say anything so I guess I just thought it was WB.

Maybe it doesnt matter? Although now I am really curious about the Western blot and what my results would show. I have been on abx for 3 months. I had a dot-blot assay done back in april which was positive.

LLMD doesnt seem to be concerned to have me take any further test, but I guess I'd kind of like to know. Not that it would make my treatment any different.

What a Wierd way to report what is, I Believe, an indication that your Lyme titre (/lime tighter/) result was less than 0.91 & that neither the IgM or IgG blots were ever even RUN.
FYI-Your PCP CAN specifically request the Western blots be run, in any case.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if he would feel this is neccessary, even though statistics show a significant # of people with low titres test CDC+ via the blots! Not a whole lot, but enough to have Lyme docs feel it's best to go right TO the Western blots, as they're a better indicator of the disease.

If you have a doctor willing to treat you, that is wonderful!

If you begin to doubt if you really have lyme, then get the WB!
