Have you tried rehab guided by PT/OT?

That was one of my symptoms, years ago. It went away with very aggressive treatment.
It came and went, for a while, sometimes into my entire body and it always started in my upper arms.
I still get the start of it once in a while, but only the start of it and usually under stress.

That was also one of my many symptoms. Also in my legs. It is horrible feeling that way and not being able to fix it fast! It has all gone away with aggressive treatment and DETOXING!

Neurons cannot regrow.
That being said, other parts of your brain can take over the "damaged" areas function.
Are you sure this is an upper motor issue vs. a lower motor issue?
Sending prayers of healing to you.
Hugs,
Geneal

ALS is somewhat unique in that it has upper and lower motor neuronal damage/dysfunction. UMN sx: spasticity LMN sx: twitch, weakness

I think some may argue that nerves can regrow. Much of the question lies on how they have been damaged and what constitutes a dead neuron. So while I am sure Geneal is correct in certain situations, I think there is also plenty of evidence that nerves come back from serious damage

Maybe try methyl B-12 to help protect your myelin sheath for the future? I'm not sure if it actually has been proven to reverse anything, but after 3 months on it some of my twitchiness and stuff. Of course, ongoing Tx as well, plus lots of Mg. Anything to decrease inflammation too may be a good idea: circumin (I like LongVida brand), Omega 3's, etc.
