Hi,
I'm new here and new to trying to understand Lyme. I have had bad symptoms for several months but I suspect that my exposure to lyme goes back a lot further. Perhaps 12 years or more. Is it possible that I never really had severe symptoms till now? I have had lots of symptoms but they always pointed to other causes. (typical of Lyme I am learning).
Now I can barely function and I am a mom of two young children with thier own health issues. I have an appointment in Oct with a LLMD but need some symptom relief now! I can't figure out anything that improves the fatigue, muscle/joint aches, brain fog, etc.
Plus I have bad candida issues and hesitate to start with abx since that will just make it much worse.
I would like to start treating this naturally but don't know where to start and see if that gets me anywhere while I wait till Oct.

Thanks for any ideas.

Hi, Yankee Mom. Welcome to the best on-line support group around!

Of course there are things you can do now to help your body. There are many supplements, herbs, etc. that can help. I went to the health food store & they looked it up in their 'big book'. Of course, there is much support online. If I were you, I'd search these forums for the best alternative solution. It's going to be a lot of information to absorb.....so just stick to a plan and go with it.

Good luck to you...keep coming back!

Hi,

Happy to meet you, but sorry for the reason. I found these two things very helpful to start with. I still read through these often b/c there's so much there to process.

The first is the Burrascano treatment Guidelines, they are linked in the on-line Library to the left of this page.

The second is here.
