How do you know the Plaq was causing your liver issues?

You could consider a steadier dose of Flagyl or Tindamax.

Plaq is usually well-tolerated (though I didn't do well on it either) so just be sure that it was the source of your issues before giving up on it.

After I stopped taking Plaquenil for a few weeks my liver enzymes returned to normal. That is why I suspect it was the plaquenil...

All this medication and supplements at times seem overwhelming. I just look forward to the day when I don't have to do this anymore.

Amantadine was also shown to improve macrolide
bacterial killing. I think it would also be 100 mg 2X.day. Actually I think I prefer adding the cyst buster flagyl/tindamax to adding plaq or amantadine but that is just personal preference.

Flagyl is considered less useful if given with doxycycline but I have pulsed while taking all 3 of the following: doxy, zith and bactrim combined with exceedingly good
results.

I take amantadine with my Biaxin instead of Plaqunil / Biaxin.

A good combo. Biaxin needs to be taken with something otherwise it can get the lyme in the cells.
