My doctor recommended this treatment. It's vials of dead Borelia. Sounds a bit scary to me.

Any thoughts?

I used it many years ago before I really knew I had Lyme and just suspected it (with a homeopathic I was seeing). I did not get much results from it. I did herx some, so I'm not sure. Perhaps I was just too sick.

Don't be afraid - it is fine.

I really hate to come along and say that I had horrible reactions but I did. With two different sets, over time. The second time, I tried to go slower.

My reaction could have been from the alcohol, though. This set me back a ton of money and caused huge relapse.

However, I've read here of others who did well, mostly with used in conjunction with the Bionic 880. It's a specifically administered light therapy.

Too tire to go through my notes on that but be sure to do a search of all past threads on "DESERET" homeopathics, etc. - you'll get a better scope of replies.

It got me very ill very fast. Keebler, could that small amount of alcohol really cause so much havoc?

It's no small amount of alcohol in each vial (each vial is one dose). It was probably at least 1/2 tsp. per vial. A huge amount for me. I can't even do homeopathic drops with alcohol. Not even ONE drop.

I can do alcohol in tinctures, though that's far less alcohol per dose and I put that in a 1/2 cup of water and swirl it a while.

I just don't seem to be be able to tolerate the alcohol in homeopathics. It's an amazing difference. Homeopathics, though, cannot be put in water like tinctures can. I still rarely use tinctures but, for a few select ones, I do fine. I've never had a good reaction to homeopathics in alcohol.

With homeopathic sublingual PELLETS, I do okay. I had asked Deseret about that and, at that time, they (or the ND) felt it would not provide the necessary strength or that the milk sugar in the pellets would not mix with the borrelia.

I did wind up using the last half of the second series on my wrist. Can't say what good that did, if any with this particular homeopathic. It can work with some but maybe not all. I was so disappointed as it was so expensive and I got worse when I'd heard that so many did so well with it. Sigh!

I used Lyme vials with the Bionic 880. In conjunction with light, it got me better from Lyme (though mine were from Germany). I did not consume them though, it is a different way of using them. You can see in Oct 2008 part of my blog how I used them.

Hmmmm. So far I'm not feeling the warm fuzzies about this stuff. I will look up the prior posts.

I like to post on a current thread because the solution may have changed over the years.

Thanks for the input. - Very helpful.

I've got warm fuzzies for you, Haley, but about the Bartonella Remedy. It took me from over the top anxiety to depression after it was over, and now I'm more stable than I've been in decades.

I will have to say though, I worked VERY closely with my nutritionist and she uses a sort of electro dermal screening device to determine whether or not I could handle the alcohol, if I should repeat it like some people do, and whether or not I needed supports along with it.

I took daily saunas, had coffee enemas at least once a week and I used both the kidney/bladder and the lymph drainage support (also deseret biologicals). This was one of the most affordable treatments for me -- even with the supports. Most benefits than from any other treatment to date.

Peacemama - Thanks for the post.

Had you also done abx before trying this?

Just curious.

Personally I would never take orally the nosodes from germs--diluted or not. I, like sixgoofy, used them in conjuction with the infrared light and I did get rid of my bartonella that way.

Antibiotics did not work for me.

I took the Desert Biologicals Borelia series for a month, didn't notice anything good or bad with it. It was disappointing.

I'm using Deseret Biologicals Parasite Complex. I've seen some funky things since using it.

I am using them with the PE-1 but not ingesting them, starting to show some improvement.

It's not vials of dead borrelia... It's vials with water and imprint of dead borrelia.

Research homeopathic nosodes.

Nosodes are pretty common in Europe, I get treated with them all the time, any naturopath knows about Sanum nosodes used in lower dilutions like these from Deseret. In Belgium, not so much Sanum, but they have a vast array of nosodes available in the pharmacies.

I haven't ingested borrelia nosodes such low dilutions, but I would, if I think they help.

I photooned them and they caused me a profound effect.

My daughter went from wheel chair, barely able to sit even (due to swollen knees) to sitting on the floor on her knees in 5 days after photooning these nosodes!!!

That is what made me believe this stuff is powerful and efficient.

I started then using the same protocol after her successful experience.

She was supposed to be 2-3 weeks on IV Rocephin instead of photons, and all doctors told me there's no warranty she will be cured after.

I pulled her off Rocephin IV on day 2 (she was still on wheel chair) and started photons at home, and in less than a week she was back to feeling normal, even though I treated her for more a couple of months.

It sounds pretty unbelievable, I know. If I was not treating her, I wouldn't believe anyone else.

I also photooned her knee liquid after making myself a nosode, to get other pathogens than borrelia. (the doctor pulled the liquid for testing, and I got a drop).

Abby-do!! Youuuuha!! Crossing fingers for you!! Don't forget to keep on detoxing!!!!

what is photooned? I'm guessing that is using the light like with the Bionic 880.

This post details my research with the manufacturer and my concerns
http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/46309#000007

You will need to read most of the thread in order to get the whole story and differing opinions.

If they are not ingested, there is no problem in my view.
