My Dr doesn't know anything about Lyme. I've got an appointment with a LLMD for October. I'm also nursing my toddler (who may also have Lyme I think congenitally since her older sister also has lots of symptoms). I'm working on weaning but that won't happen very quickly. I know Doxy is out for long term use while bfing. What abx can I take now while bfing that will target the Lyme? I'm pretty sure my Dr will perscribe whatever I ask for. Also what strength.

Amoxicillin, my doctor has me on 2000mg but I don't know if others will think it is too low. I am also interested in this topic.
