I am new to this forum, just found it yesterday and have already read some helpful information. I have been sick for almost 3 weeks now: started with a bad headache, then went to low grade fever with lower back pain (thought it was a bladder infection), lower back pain started flowing through my legs, they were achy and I have a had a hard time walking. Since the onset some of my symptoms have been burning feet, knee pain, both of my legs are affected, now my knuckles are starting to ache. Looking at the symptoms of LD I seem to have quite a few, but it seems that I have more symptoms from stage 3 (I think tha is how it was refered to) but not really any from stage 2. I have not found a tick nor a rash. But I have been tested for various autoimmune diseases and everythng is coming back negative. However i KNOW something is not right with my body. I've had a low white blood count for the past 2 months, but my lab work this week showed my wbc went back up, so now is within normal limits. Is this a common LD symptom? A few weeks ago i started exp. my lip twitching, like eye lids do, is that a LD symptom? I don't wake up with a fever but usually by afternoon I have delevoped one, doesn't go higher than 99.6 (so far) After my last test coming back neg. my Dr. told me to just rest. I'm not in a lot of pain, but my legs are achy and I can't walk normal. I'm 34 yo and have 5 kids that I homeschool. I need to get better. My dr. said that to test for LD would be expensive, I don't have insurance. Does anyone on here have any suggestions for me? Does it even sound like I could have LD? I've not had any chest issues or stomach issues and there are a lot of other symptoms i've not had. But out of everything I've researched, it seems that my symptoms match ld the best. Thanks for any help or advice.

Yes, it sounds a lot like LD and co-infections. Yes, lip and eye twitching is a symptom I have too. Also never had a rash or found a tick.
You need to see a lyme literate doctor. They are expensive and most don't take insurance anyway. I'm sorry but it's your best option for getting better.
I also have a hard time affording it as most of us do
You need to be on medication right now
Also, not everyone has EVERY symptom.
