My neuro said I have early onset ALS based on an abnormal EMG test. I have weakness in my arms and some in my legs and alot of Lyme symptoms. Could the abnormal EMG results be Lyme as well? I really hope so!!! I've been on ceftriaxone for 7 weeks and have had some improvements in my energy and chest pain but not in my arm strength. Has anyone else had Lyme with abnormal EMG tests?

Yes I do definately think Lyme can cause an abnormal EMG, There are many people who improve when treating the LYme according to Dr Martz. Dont give up. My symptoms were very much like ALS...took about 6 weeks of the IV rocephin to get improvement on the twitches and fasiculations, but they are much better
