I feel consistently the same. Tired, off balance, partial occasional partial seizures, depression,

air hunger. I never feel like I herx, I want to feel like I'm making some type of progress!

I always treat aggressively. When I did back off I got much worse. I went back on strong treatment

and got back to where I usually am. No sign of herxing though?

I'm very greatful that I am were I am compared to 2 years ago, I just wish I could make some more progress ya know?

What makes you think you HAVE to herx to get better?

Everybody is different and deals with die -off differently.

I have herx's from hell and get better after each herx. My spouse on the other hand does not experience any herxing at all and still manages to see great improvement with abx. tx.

Just saying that not everyone has to herx to get better.

Wish I was a no herx. I have so much pain it is untolerable...takes weeks to even get back to where pain is something that doesn't consume me.

Only once did I have a really obvious herx. The rest of the time, I either haven't noticed anything, or my symptoms come and go in relatively mild flares in a semi-unpredictable pattern, so I can't tell if any of those are herxes.

Nevertheless, I am finally seeing definite improvement after being sick 14 months.

I have wondered why I don't herx much, but I assume that either my body is very good at detoxing, or the strain of Lyme I have is giving me relatively minor symptoms, or the antibiotics are just making cysts instead of killing Lyme, or my overall level of bacteria is fairly small so I don't kill that many at once, or...who knows, LOL.

Nevertheless, I'm sure I have Lyme, and I'm sure I'm getting better, so it is possible for both of those things to happen with little or no herxing. And I'm glad for it because I've been able to remain reasonably functional and keep working, even when I don't feel good much of the time.

I'm really sorry for those of you that have terrible herx's. Janet, here is my list of what I'm on at the moment:

1)Zithromax 500mg. daily

2)Omnicef 900mg. daily

3)Mepron 3tsp. daily

4)Lamictal 200 mg. daily (for partial seizures)

5)Artimisinin (pulsed)

6)Bab-1 30 drops daily (herbal tincture for babesia)

7)BLT (herbal tincture for bartinella)

8)Vit.B Complex

9)Potassium

10)Lipioc Acid

11)Levoxyl (for thyroid)

13)Acytal Carnitine

14)Bolouke

15)Chlorella

16)Iodoral

17)Vit.D3

18)Pro-Biotics

19)Multi-Vitamin

Some of these supplements I take because I did some lab work that showed some deficiencies.

Ofcourse, I can't always afford all of these supplements but I do my best. Never miss my

antibiotics. Very frustrating and stressful, it's hard to get better when when there is so

much financial strain. I wish you all well, hang in there.
