I noticed on the medical sheet for Zithro that you should advise your doctor is getting dental work. Does anyone know why?

Is this on the printout from your pharmacy?
Do you usually premedicate for certain dental procedures?

That's the only thing I can think of. If so, then you'd be covered by taking the zith.

But of course, "check with your doctor".

i actually had my tooth drilled on yesterday for a crown. strangely i started shaking and feeling very irritable (not normal for me). i'm not sure if it was the zithromax, but i came home and later read that you should check with docter if receiving dental work .......... if it was the zithro, that would be great to know because i wouldn't take it again [Smile] before going to dentist.
