I was going through all my old test results and came across my co-infection panel. I noticed my bartonella titer was 1:80 which is a little above normal.
I was only treated for 6 months with Rifampin and was wondering if this was long enough.
My very first symptoms into this nightmare was excruiating cramping in my calf and foot. A few weeks later I was hit with the "flu".
Now I am wondering if this was too short treatment period since I still have chronic fatigue and calf twitching/pain 6 years now.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I have the same question as well. I had my igenex bartonella titer came out positive. I do live with cats but am wondering what level of a titer would indicate more of an active infection?

I have a cat also..I became sick after we adopted him from the shelter. But then again we have always had a cat. My LLMD was not impressed with the bart test so I am guessing he treated me long enough.

If want to retest, Igenex has recently come out with a new Bartonella FISH test which is supposed to be more sensitive.
