HELP! I rescued a new puppy last saturday I am

not currently on meds since our Dr. J moved away I cant afford to see him. The new pup came with

an attitude cant blame him with the conditions

and life he had and THREE yes three deer ticks

on hime that I did not find for two days. I am

scared to death that I could have gotten one on

me or have one on me I have checked and I have

checked my dog that I currently have that I have

never seen a tick on. Please help anyone know a

good way to get doxy where we don't have lyme:)

Since I had it for at least 10 years before

treatment the last time.

Well hi there, mimi!! Good to hear from you!!

I'm very sorry you have some ticks there... get some Frontline or something for your pets to keep the ticks at bay.

Have you posted in Seeking a Doctor lately for a list of LLMD's in SC??

Hi - looks like you made two posts on this. I asked on the other one what's the earliest age a puppy and kitten can have tick repellent on, if anyone knows?

Sorry...but no more dogs in my house...for that very reason...and the fact that I am allergic

My dogs get ticks even with Advantix on them.

Some alive.....but most dead.

You could possibly get doxy for the puppy.

When my dog got Lyme last summer, she got the same doxy as I did.

I believe that all flea/tick topicals can be applied at 6 weeks of age.

Check with your vet though.

Hugs,

Geneal
