Have been having this problem for about a year now. I have to push on my bladder to go pee properly and ever then the stream is very weak and inconsistent... Sometimes if i really have to go I can pee properly.

I was just taking max flow and that started making me very dizzy and gave me vertigo last night. So i have discontinued it now, it wasn't really helping anyway!

Any opinions please, would be greatly appreciated!

Kuda,

Have had that problem for a long time. It's the least of my concerns, so I haven't tried anything to treat it.

I assume it has to do with inflammation. Do you also have Epididymitis? I do..

I think both have improved a little bit with treatment, but I could care less considering all my other major symptoms are much more frustrating.

I actually worry more about my hair loss, LOL.

My husband swears by saw palmetto. You might want to give it a try. Its good for the prostrate.

Make sure that you tell your LLMD about this issue. There are some antibiotics (Levaquin, Cipro, etc.) that target the prostate and bladder and are highly effective.

As a result of Lyme and co-infections, I have dealt with this issue for many years. If it had been treated properly by an LLMD when it first occurred, it may have been easier to cure.

In the meantime, you may want to consider taking D-Mannose. I take 6 pills per day (2 morning, 2 afternoon, and 2 at night). It helps to get rid of the infection and swelling. You will be able to urinate better once the inflammation goes down.

I order D-Mannose from Vitacost. Its cheaper.

Thanks everyone, just ordered!!! Now we play the waiting game and see if it works! [Big Grin]

Wolfedout, I really do not know to be honest with you... Definitely something worth looking in to though!

I had that problem and it was eventually cured, I guess by the antibiotics I took/take for Lyme.

Go to Vitacost or similar site and buy some Saw Palmetto with Pygeum. Jarrow is the brand my husband uses. Great stuff!

Prostatitis is different than other prostate problems. I am not sure if you have looked into it, but it strikes young people more than the other prostate stuff
