trying to choose between continuing with mepron, zithromax and tetracycline or to go after bart, with rifampin, plaquineil and artemesia. What do others think about the rifampin combo? I've looked here but not seen that particular combination. My son is about to start a 2 week break from the mepron, zith, tetracycline treatment and then we have to decide which dr.s recommondation to go with

I've never done that combo, but can't get rid of it with Rifampin alone. I am waiting a delivery on generic Levofloxacin (Levaquin) from an overseas pharmacy. Keeping my fingers crossed. Your son must have tested potisive for Babesia, or at least have the symptoms, if he is on Mepron. I've never heard of Mepron being prescribed for Bartonella (or Bartonella-like-organisms).

I'm pretty desperate for some feedback. It is a very lonely place to be. Son , ;now 22, has been sick a long time, treating for the past 5 years. His body is in good shape now, it is the brain that is still not recovered, still greatly impaired. Anyone have any observations on the rifampin combined with plaquineil and artemesia?? please?
