How does one transmit lyme to another person? It's similar to syphilis so I'm sure that body fluid is one way but what about skin transmission?

I think if it were that easy to pass, then almost all spouses would both eventually have Lyme, but only a few both have it despite living together for years.

At least I'm a lot less nervous about touching people now. The whole thing sucks.
