I know what the listed symptoms are for the co-infections but after treating this stuff for over a year, I find that not everything matches up.

I have a headache at the crown of my head. It seems to be related to my inablility to think. I believe that it is related to Babesia due to reactions to different medicines.

What do most of you feel is the cause of your headache or "brain fog" based on your experience?

I've only recently figured this one out. My head heaviness (feels like I have a large weight hanging off the base of my skull) and head pressure (feels like my head is stuck in a vice) respond to Babesia medications.

The sharp stabbing migraine type headache (front of head) responds to Bartonella meds specifically Levaquin.

Both types of headache seem to make it more difficult for me to think. When Babesia is flaring the added exhaustion, fatigue, and tiredness makes everything worse. I literally feel stupid and slow to respond.

When I had babesia, I do believe it was the main cause of my migraines. All I know is that they are gone!

Hope yours go away too!

This started for me, when I got infected with Bartonella. It lasted and aggravated for months and it was gone after Bart treatment.

My LLMD says it's Bart, and I don't really know other than sinus h/a's are always fungal for me.

my frontal headache is either Lyme or Bart. Went away completely with rocephin, returned with IV zith and even worse with addition of flagyl. The flagyl made me feel drunk...kinda nice since I cant drink, but I think it was killing lyme cyst in the brain.

My flares/herxes are always the head swollen feeling. Like my head has 100+ pounds of pressure in it, or a vice grip feeling like someone let go of it please!

I'm positive for babs/fry bug....

I need to get checked for that Fry bug. I'm sure it could be protozoan as I have sort of a crawling feeling on the crown of my head. Weird, I know.

I heard someone speak at a conference with well known LLMDs.

He said that headaches or pressure in the back of the head is usually Babs. The more ice pick type or frontal headaches are usually Bart.

My migraine like headache went away with bart treatment but is coming back now that I am relapsing. I have never had the base of the skill headache associated with babesia, which is one reason I do not believe I have it.

hey there,

i am borrelia and bart pos, babesia negative. but i have some babesia symptoms.. so:

i am taking since 15 months ABX.. the last 8-10 months i took Bartonella meds only because i thought the brainfog is because the barts.. i took protocols like 3 months levaquin+bactrim+mino or doxy, or levaquin+mino+doxy.. pulsed flagyl.. then another 3 months rifampicin+ bactrim etc.. i didnt get rid off my brain fog.. people which have brain fog and bartonella should response more quickly to the meds.. your brainfog should go away.. especially on those protocols i took.

now after 15 month of constant ABx and still having brain fog i switched my protocol to mepron+azi+artemisin .. because i think that my headache and the brain fog is because of the babesia!
hope it will go away with this treatment

greetz
