I posted in the seeking a dr section and got some great referrals (MANY thanks!!) but could not get an appointment for several months. That's ok by me, because it will be worth it to finally see a dr who might listen to me.
In the meantime should I try to get more doxycycline? I was on it for a month and now a little over a week later I feel all my old symptoms coming back. Towards the end of the treatment period I was feeling pretty much back to normal with only maybe a hint of dizziness. Now I'm back to feeling weak, tired, dizzy, and tingly.
My regular GP and a neurologist I went to both said I am fine and normal and don't want me to take antibiotics. I had to get them from a walk-in clinic in the first place.
Should I try to get another month of doxy from the walk-in or wait for my LLMD appt in November? Should I wait a few weeks and see if I get better or worse first?

Absolutely--and make sure you can take it at 400mg/day! You need to treat for 3 months past the point at which all symptoms disappear for a cure. the window of opportunity is tiny, but it sounds like it's still open for you.

Thanks! I was only on 200mg/day so maybe that will help too!

Yes, higher dosages are better. Try another walk-in clinic.

Thanks for the advice everybody! I was able to acquire more doxy which should hopefully get me through to see the LLMD. They said I'm on the waiting list and can hopefully get in sooner than November, besides. I upped to 200mg 2x a day on the advice from everyone here.
I hate having to self diagnose and self treat, but I feel it's better than letting this get worse! Thanks to everyone and this forum I don't feel like I'm imagining it anymore. I do have 20 of the symptoms on canlyme.com so I feel more confident that it really is lyme, despite what my others drs thought.
I started back on the treatment last night and I already feel worse, so I'm going to take that as a good sign, ha ha.

See if the LLMD has a waiting list for cancelled appointements...maybe you can get in sooner! It worked for me!
