Did anyone catch this last night? Might be a repeat? Thought I'd post it incase others missed it the first time around.

This is just a snipit of the show. I couldn't find any links to watch the entire episode. Of course I turned the tv on just as it was ending.

Thanks cityroam. I wish they would've talked about the treatment and my Pharmacists would've watched it. I got the FISH test and poor immune system (with pos PCR'S for Lyme and Bart) to prrove it.

Anybody else see it and is there more info we missed?

After I posted this I searched the internet to get more info, I still can't find a link to watch the entire episode, but I did find a link that tells a little more about the guy featured in the story.

dang! I missed it. Strangly enough, I tried to record it, but was already recording something else while wanting to watch a third show, so I couldn't record it.

Did they happen to mention what strain he had?

this was a repeat, seen it b4, if you have a dvr search for all episodes for the show. Or just search for shows on lyme. I came across a movie called lymelife but was very dissapointed that it was a R++ movie w alec baldwin, couldnt it just be educational??

I sometimes wonder about the information they put out there. This is a quote from your link:

The good news is that babesiosis is treatable. Once a doctor suspects babesiosis, the test to confirm the diagnosis gives a clear-cut answer and the treatment is usually a combination of antimicrobial drugs. Less than 1 percent of patients die of the disease, and sometimes it goes away on its own

It really doesn't give a clear-cut answer and it seems alot of tests come back negative. I never knew it went away on it's own. This is the first I'm hearing of that.
