Hi, Paul!

I had floaters in both eyes for the first two years I was in treatment. And then, one day, I realized I only had them when I was stressed.

Finally, in my third year on abx, they went away completely.

Hope you have success with yours.

Andie

My neuro-ophthamologist recommends a simple surgery to fix them, if they still persist after lyme treatment. I have some, but my 14 year old son has many, many, many.

Constant.

thanks for the input I have around 3 or 4 small threads in each eye.. they do not bother me much except when looking at a white wall or a blue sky when it is bright out.

does light sensitivity also go away?

I am on my first week of treatment so I know I have a long way to go.

I am so glad to have this forum for support.

and very happy with my choice of LLDO

I still deal with many lyme symtoms (and at least 5 other coinfections). However, my floaters have been gone for a couple years now after many years of being rather thick.

Various ANTIOXIDANTS did it for me.

Light sensitivity does get better with treatment. Magnesium can also make a huge difference in helping relieve that.

All this on magnesium is partly because it has helped me so much in so many ways. However, be sure to ask your doctor if you happen to have kidney disease. Most lyme patients are very low in magnesium as the infections seem to do that.

Some are concerned that the magnesium can "feed" infection, however, if the body is severely depleted the body must be replenished as magnesium is a necessary mineral for survival.

Taking magnesium with B-6 helps it get into our cells better. And B-6 is a calming vitamin, too.

Hey Paul:

Welcome. I have floaters too...more of an annoyance than anything. I'm in my 5th month of treatment and am feeling nearly normal...but the floaters remain. Sigh.

Let me know if you find the cure! Keebler, I"ll look into those supplements.

I have had a lot of eye problems, but floaters were only a problem in my left eye. And, it was like one large floater so it was different than what most others experience.

But, my vision in both eyes was extremely blurry, I would stare, had dry eyes, pain, and there was a constant dimness like the world was in a hazy light.

Restasis has helped tremendously. It's not perfect, but it is definitely better. BTW, it was quite a struggle to get an eye dr to rx it, though as they preferred to recommend over-the-counter eye drops.

I had a lot of floaters, pretty much constantly.
Now they're almost always gone.

I have no idea what did it. I just followed my llmd's treatment and I'm getting better.

In addition to treating infection and nourished our cells, here's another valuable element for our vision:

YOGA FOR YOUR EYES

It's nice to see what it's like on YouTube and then purchase for your daily use with your DVD player. YouTube denies him of his rightful due for all his research and work.

The DVD is very affordable - about the cost of one supplement - it's just about $20. and you get a book with it, too. The DVD is also much easier on your eyes - from your TV at a distance. The computer screen is much harder on eyes.

However, if the budget is just not able to manage this, my guess is that he posted this YouTube clips so that everyone could have have the basic details.

Some libraries may also carry the DVD/book.
