i just got back from taos.

i am broken out in cold sores or maybe call it canker sores.

i was out in the sun alot. indian market, flea markets, etc., hours at a time.

i've never been one to break out after being out in the sun, but now my mouth is an absolute mess.

plus the blotchy red and purple legs and feet. it's not a sunburn.

are we more susceptible to sunlight? it was not hot, just very very bright.

do we get canker sores/cold sores more from the sunlight than other people?

my mouth is an absolute mess.

Are you taking doxycycline? I know that you can have a bad reaction to sun exposure if you are taking doxy.

If you were out of town, maybe you were eating different foods? Food can cause the sores around the mouth, too.

I would consider how your body may be changed from the recent shingles experience you had a couple months ago.

hmm, yeah, i thought of the shingles episode.

i do have one horrible blister like area on the inside of my mouth which makes the outside look swollen.

i got a bad headache tho from the sun. i tried to drink a lot of water.

my legs got all red and purple blotchy.

i wonder if i will be more susceptible to shingles, herpes virus since that episode.

dang.

no, i'm not on any abx but am seriously considering going back on biaxin.

will have to go to dentist at 2 tomorrow and get the crown repaired. maybe the dentist will have some ideas.
