Alright, blood results were negative for Bab/Bart but positive for RMSF....in New England??? Oh vey, I think I want an IV!

there was just another post about RMSF......try to search.....basically erlichiosis can trigger a positive RMSF result..........so if you dont have the typical rmsf rash and deathly ill......that may be a posibility........

We have a lot of spotless RMSF around here. It was reported in the journals this last year.
To me spotless RMSF means Lyme. Just because they did not see it does not mean its not there.

I don't know when I was bit, but my first problem was RMSF. 2 weeks of doxy did clear up the RMSF, but after researching I became concerned about what else I got from that tick and how everything says acting FAST is critical. So I went to a Lyme doctor, confirmed RMSF was still negative, and ended up testing positive for Lyme. (By the way, I was very ill but had no spots). My LLMD said RMSF is dangerous, but much easier to treat than Lyme.
