So I have my first appt with llmd on the 23rd and my joint pain is increasing every day. Then, for the first time ever, my hands started shaking uncontrollably. I was really freaked out by it and called office. Nurse said it is tremors which are common. Is there anything I can do in the meantime for this?

Sorry, the only thing that helped my tremors was antibiotics and they initially became worse before better. Now they are gone.

Sorry you have this symptoms. It was very disturable for me.

Tremors are part lyme and coinfections. Also, when you are going through treatment and herxing sometimes they can become very bad.

With treatment they do go away though. I don't know of anything to stop them beside antibiotics.
Try to get on their cancellation list to see if you can get in sooner.

Do you have a GP that is lyme friendly? Sometimes they will prescribe antibiotics. I live in PA also and if you are near me I can PM you the name of my GP who works in combination with the lyme specialist.

Are you on any meds?

The only thing I can think of is to try some lemon juice to help with the detox.

Squeeze one lemon (maybe a lime, too) into a glass of water, add sweetener (not sugar because we have to be careful of candida yeast...stevia or xylitol is best), add an ice cube (or sparkling water, in my case) and enjoy a treat [Smile]

Why do the tremors, twitches happen late at night or early morning?

janice, it could be bartonella, as bart does a lot of stuff in the mornings.
