Please be careful with cilantro. It is a strong herb for getting metals out of their hiding places. You MUST bind these metals or they will deposit themselves in other tissues. Do your homework before chelating metals, or work with a knowledgable practitioner.

Just to echo BoxerMom binding heavy metals needs cautious approach. I think a lot of folks think cilantro is safe since it is an herb, but it does have a reputation as a powerful metal binder. And further it may be one of the few that will cross the blood-brain barrier, so indeed you do not want to take metals out of other tissues and deposit them in your brain. hope this does not scare folks because I think this can be done safely, but certainly a knowlegable practioners asisstance is advidsed.

Do not attempt detox of heavy metals, etc. on your own. I agree with BoxerMom and mattnapa - don't try this on your own. It is easily done incorrectly.
I would also totally disagree with attempting any detox unless you are certain that you have not developed allergies toward any of the substances your body is not able to release. Check out www.allergie-immun.de (English version) and the thread that is running here "Allergy Immun Germany" that has some 2000 plus posts on it. You are wasting time, money, and energy if you are allergic to any of the major foods, fungi/mucor metals, chemicals, as 99.9% of the people are from this group on LN who have done the Allergie Immun test and are now doing the therapy clearing the dysregulations in the DNA = allergies.
