I have a slight pain on both sides which seems to be the area of the kidneys.. it is through the front only not the back.
I had this very slightly over the last couple weeks .. but I added addrenal support and a B complex today and I think it agrivated this pain
does anyone know if ading Drenamin or Methyl-Protect (B Complex) could increase pain in kidney area?
any thoughts?
if this is happening now whats going to happen when I add the flagyl in 2 weeks?

Should I worry about taking my next dose of antibiotics?
I am scheduled to pop two pills really soon

Google exactly where your kidneys are - they are on either side of your spine above your waist, below the ribs. I believe the pain would be in your back, not the front. I had similar concerns and it was something else - maybe something is going around.
If it is in this area, then you should probably quit and call your doctor.

yea I keep hearing you should feel it in the back
but when I had a kidney stone at age 17 pain was in this same location both sides kinda lower than seen in the google images
it feels like kidney to me. because I felt it when I had the stone years ago... but it is getting better now an hour later I had a tall glass of lemon water to see if it would help
I think adding 2 new suplemenets may have agrevated them... also my urin was like floresent
I am going to take my antibiotics now and see how I feel in the morning

I get pains in my kidneys, always in the back, though. I always wonder if that will be the day my kids are gonna fail me being doused with all these meds, but they always test fine so I assume they are just aggrivated and inflammed when I get the pains.
A simple blood test can tell you if it's a kidney problem. It could also be adrenals which sit atop the kidneys.

blinkie.... yep @ adrenals

ok.. adrenals sounds like a possibility... I added adrenal support the other day
do you think adrenal support Drenamin could agrivate them?
I think I will relax on the Adrenal support and see if it helps

drink water, drink lemon water. Also cranberry juice.
Flush them out.

my adrenal glands (I believe) became aggravated after adding methyl-protect.
Only, I must not be an alien like you because I felt it in the back.
Water, water, water. Lemon water.
Taking adrenal support soothes my kidneys if they're feeling sore, but I've been taking it for over a year and a half.

When a kidney stone moves out of the kidney, it passes through the ureter, which leads to the bladder. If it gets stuck in the ureter, you will feel the pain in the abdomen, radiating to the groin.
I felt it in a spot just below the waistline, an inch or two in front of the iliac crest. This is also the spot where my father had an incision when he had surgery to remove a "stuck" kidney stone.
Here is a pic to show the location of the iliac crest:
.
So I think the pain you are feeling is not the kidneys, as kidney pain is felt in the back. The kidneys are tucked up against either side of the backbone, as you'll notice if you've ever dismembered a chicken.

You have lymph nodes on both sides basicly in the middle of your hip and rib if you're going up. I had/have bad pain in mine on my right for the longest before I knew what is was.
When i started having it on the left as well and the right i didn't know hwat it was until they got big enough to actually feel them. It's like a sharp pain. Maybe that's what you have.
I know it's hard when you get a bunch of different answers but in my case that's what it seems to be.

well it feels better today I think the B complex I added agrivated it for some reason
and I am thinking adrenals sounds like it could be to blame... anyway I am keeping a close eye on the pain level and it seems to have gotten better today from yesterday. so I am not going to be overly concerned unless it persists
thanks for all the feedback though
I do appreciated all your thoughts.

(possibily) you are feeling the effects of nitrogenous waste filtering through the kidney and effecting the adrenals.
a high quality probiotic will neutralize nitrogenous waste.
as will green smoothies. lemon water is as well known to alkalinize, and is good for overall body alkalinity, but I have not found specific pain relief from this method for kidney aches in my opinion.
But dont stop it.

I have the exact same pain, just above both hips but more so on my right side. I first noticed
it about a year ago and it's become gradually worse and more frequent. I'm on all sorts of
supplements but no abx at the moment. Not much help for you, just found it interesting someone else described a symptom I have to the 't'.

I have had the same pain Carol described. A burning pain in my right side that would increase in intensity, then suddenly go away after several days. The pain could radiate all the way through to my back.
My first response was my kidneys until I located them online and saw it is not the same location.
But prior to the pain I started plaquenil and got really bad diarrhea so I thought perhaps my intestines were very inflammed, maybe even my appendix. After quitting plaq I got better in a few days.
I have been taking Bactrim DS since Feb and it is known to cause kidney stones, so it makes sense that could have been what I felt.
