I've been having pretty severe chest pain on and off...It's hard to describe, because I've never felt this pain before. It's almost like a burning pain with pressure? I also have hives...are these herx symptoms?

I just read a few other chest pain discussions...of course there can't be a clear answer, but I'm in my twenties so I don't think it's a heart attack! I've been on ceftin and zith for a month now, I'm assuming it's a herx. Anyone with this and hives?

I would think that hives is an allergic reaction to something you are taking.
The chest pain is all too familiar. I've been told it's Costochondritis, Myofacial Pain, Esophogeal spasms.. but I strongly feel it's linked to Bartonella.

I am having severe chest pain off and on too. It also feels like pressure and burning pain. I get worried b/c I have a picc line. I'm not really sure what is causing it, but I'm calling my cardiologist on Monday just to rule things out.
Hives sound like an allergic reaction to the meds.
