I noticed yesterday when I look into the sky, I could see lots of fast moving, tiny, like swimming lights mostly in my peripheral vision. They were the same idea as when youu see stars but more of them and going all over the place in no particular patern. Some of them look like they have a little light to them and others are just colorless. It looks alot like looking into microscope at little organisms swimming around. Yuk.
What scares me is that I have been taking Plaquenil (over 3 months) / Biaxin / Doxy. I am wondering if this is the Plaquenil or more vision trouble as I have had many problems with the Lyme over the past 10 months including terrible Bells-Palsey.
Has anyone had any such vision problem as this? I'm worried. Thank You.

I have had this problem for about 2 years. Was bit about 2 1/2 years ago. Did you have it before you starting taking your meds?

I never notice these until yesterday, 1 week after adding Doxycycline to my abx protocol.

This is a lyme / bart symptom in my experience. Just my opinion. I have floaters and had the periphery stuff too.

I was diagnosed with Lyme and babesia in October 2009.
Eye floaters and the exact vision issue you have described was one of my intial problems. I also have black spots in my vision. I was on 6 months of antibiotics and my vision issues have cleared up significantly. In fact, the I only have eye floaters occasionally. I also have small flashes in my vision every once in awhile.
Overall, with treatment my vision issues have gotten much better.
