I searched the threads, it turns out that some Life Insurance companies will deny insurance based on a history of Lyme. There were a few cases where people ended up getting insurance eventually.
Does anyone know of a company that will issue Life Insurance? Specific company names would be appreciated.

Hey BT,
Have you tried looking to see if your state offers any? Mine does. That is the route I am on now that my COBRA has ended.
Good Luck to you! Insurance companies are a . . .

Try Met Life...the people with the Snoopy ads....at least one person with Lyme has been covered by them recently.

Do you HAVE to disclose any conditions you have? I've never bought life insurance, so I'm not sure. Maybe "you thought you were over it?"

Depends on your age as in if you have to have an insurance 'ck up'. This is usually just a few questions and look at you type of thing. There's nothing on insurance forms that actually ask for lyme by name. It would depend on what you say you have like, high blood pressure, arthritis.. those type of things... as in how much then it would cost. My daughter used to sell insurance and we got around me having lyme.. never did ask if I had it. And I took out two policies.
This was with Northwestern Mutual... which is in every state. Again, depends on age and what you really have (besides lyme).
Group policies can be had without any pre exsisting conditions.. for life and for med.
Each state probably has rules on what goes on with each company too.
