I am on high fat RAW diet. I'm feeling much better with my lyme, however, i don't have gallbladder and my liver is having trouble keeping up with the fat.
does anyone take bile salts and if so, which kind do you like???
thanks!

I have the same issue and was in ER last Friday with gallbladder attack w/o a gallbladder. My fault though... I take beet pills which thin the bile and acetylcholine pills that break down the fat. Also can take a natural bile salt from Standard Process called Cholocol.
There is a great website from a nutritionist here in Carlsbad, ca that she specializes in gallbladders before and after. She is amazing. It is gallbladderattack.com and she has all the stuff for each issue plus more info on gallbladders than you want to know.
I went to her and as long as I stay on this I'm fine and can eat fats...if I don't stay on it then I end up in an issue. Hope this helps. God Bless

jarrow make a great bile salts supplement, you could start with www.iherb.com. Just search for bile, you'll find it.
If your feeling really good, suggest you start slowly eating beets. Do some googling on beets and liver. You'll have to start slow to determine how much to eat.
Beets are great for the liver.
Steam some beets with sweet potatoe and onions. Add coconut oil or butter to them after you pull them from the pan. Add herbs a little sea salt and not only are you helping your liver nutritionally you are creating one tasty treat.
Drink a liver cleansing tea. Eggs because of the choline content is also good nutritionally for the liver.
