First, I am on flagyl. 750MG a day total taken 3 times a day in seperate doses. Have been on it for about 1.5 weeks, no herxes. Nothing at all. Complaints are muscle aches sometimes very annoying sometimes not there so much. And some twitching. That is about it. And also sometimes random aches thru body...I am going to take consistantly for a month and then switch to ceftin for a while or doxy... or zith maybe who knows.BTW I am going to a LLMD.
Now for twitching. it doesn't happen as much after taking zith for a month (coincidence or not IDK) by tthe way zith was my last anti before starting flagyl. But anyhow I noticed it always happens more AFTER I stretch. I can almost sometimes, sometimes.. bring it on after a good stretch of the legs... COULD this mean low mag? I am not on mag currently. Just milk thistly, nystatin as preventatives. and a probiotic.

WOW! That is incredible that you can take such high doses and not herx terribly! I wish! I take a sliver for a few days and herx so bad I have to get off for a few days.
But what you describe sure sounds like a herx to me.

so the reccommended dose is 750 x 2? which is 1500MG a day..by the way I weight 104 lbs. This isn't a herx, but constant symptoms. What you could say is the total lack of a herx..
