I have a "Quick Look Drug Book" and it lists this OTC med for pinworms, hookworms, and roundworms. Dosage is one tab and repeat in 2 weeks for roundworms and pinworms. Hookworms require daily dose for 3 days.

Has anyone used this med? Drugs.com shows no interactions with the abx I am taking.

I ordered Parastroy but need something to work fast, as I have passed a couple of worms and have experienced major stomach issues for 10 months.

I'm on my 3rd day of this drug, taking 1g/day. the first night I took it just before bed and the directions said with or without food, so I took without food since my gut is usually not a problem.

I woke at 1am extremely nauseous, full body sweats and then got up and dry heaved for a while. Then back to bed, and then awake again at 3am for a repeat of the whole thing. So, I'm guessing I must have some of the worms this stuff kills since my reaction was so intense.

The 2nd night, I took with food and put zofran (anti-nausea) tablets on my bedstand. Again woke at 1 and 3am extremely nauseous but not as sweaty, just seriously overheated. I took zofran at 1am and again at 3am and was pretty uncomfortable for about 30 min until the reaction seemed to pass.

No worms in sight anywhere which seems so weird, but I think this is a drug worth considering, although my reaction has been pretty miserable so far, I'm hoping it'll be worth it. The plan is for me to take this for 14 days. I hope each day gets better.

I've read this is part of an anti-parasite protocol of Dr. K's.

Pyrantel is part of a 5 combi parasite protocol taken in certain sequence. It is not satisfactory on its own.
The total protocol also is energetically tested by the doctors who use it.

I am sure that you are aware that anything posted in the hundreds of Dr. K. protocols on the net is always tested every time before use. If it does not test positive, it is not used at that time.

Another person just PM'd me and asked where I got this, so here's the info.

Key Pharmacy in Kent, WA. http://www.keycompounding.com/

In the protocol I have (apparently from Dr K), he suggests taking 1000mg/day for 14 days at bedtime, at the same time as Ivermectin (12mg, 4x/day for 14 days).

My doc had me on Ivermectin for much longer, but for what this is worth...

For the record, the only bad reactions were the first 3 nights, and after that I had no reaction at all. I do think it helped.
