I'm not familiar with what sort of options you have on medi-cal. I've never had insurance so I've always paid out of pocket for everything. Does it cover chiropractic? Do some LLMDs accept it? Does it cover any blood test or medication costs?
If anyone has medi-cal I'd love to learn more about it. Thank you.

I don't think any LLMDs will accept any Medicare plans. Not enough money to pay them. Some LLMDs are charging close to $1k for an initial visit. Insurance likes to pay $125-$200.

Don't know about LLMD coverage, but here in Pa. if you need dental work and are near a dental school, you can get a lot of dental care and it's covered 100%.

Thank you guys for your input. This is disappointing.
We're paying $1200-$2000 out of pocket each month for my treatment, and can't much longer. I figured that medi-cal (medicaid) was coming through just in time and could save me, but maybe not.
If anyone knows of any doctors accepting medi-cal (or even practitioners like acupuncturists, chiropractors, anything) please let me know.
If anyone wants to share their experiences with medi-cal insurance that would also be much appreciated. Thank you.
