Hi,
my only remaining symptom of babs is the air hunger.

My llmd prescribed sybacort. Anyone have suggestions?

It's not really a asthma issue but just can't get a full breath.

Janice [confused]

Mine comes and goes, thank goodness. I hope you get some relief.

mine does as well. What do you do for relief?

I use a Himalayan salt pipe. You can get them on amazon or google it to get the original one in Britain. They help with the inflammation and can help against mycoplasma too.

When this first happened to me it scared me to death.

It lasted all day and into the night.

I took a nap woke up and it was gone. Mine now comes and goes.

It doesn't last all day and it comes out of nowhere.

It happens several times a week.

I had a PFT done for complaint of SOB and my dr. heard wheezing.

Diagnosed with mild asthma.

I only seem to wheeze after lying down in bed at night time.

At present I do nothing for this, but it is frightening.

I thought mine was from my autonomic neuropathy??

I have had it off and on my whole life and doctors said I was hyperventilating. I also had extreme fatigue at times and was unable to run -breathlessness. So now I wonder if I wasn't infected with babs at least, as a child.

I am used to it. Also had heart palpitations which I am used to, dark circles under my eyes and spaciness. I began to get bad headaches when I was 12 but I also got insomnia.

Anyway that has been my life so getting rid of it would be amazing.

Have found something that gives relief in the moment for air hunger and that very uncomfortable tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, etc.

Dr. Christopher's Lung and Bronchial Formula:
http://www.iherb.com/Christopher-s-Original-Formula-Lung-Bronchial-Formula-2-fl-oz-59-ml/10224?at=0

I take only about 3 drops at a time, as it has lobelia in it, which can be strong.

The good news, it's alcohol free. I keep one bottle in the house and one in the car.

Hope this helps!

I had air hunger from babesia. Before I knew what I had, I was tested for asthma because my sister has it. I was determined to be hyperventilating.

I found that tonic water helped with symptoms for me. Getting rid of the babesia is what got rid of it though.

It is also a symptom of iron deficiency anemia, how are your iron levels?

I don't know about the iron issue. I'm going to the llmd and will ask him about that.

Someone also told me to take b12 as this will help the air hunger.
