If any of you have had or suffering now with bad sweating and chills with while eating, I would appreciate any input. Do any of you know why this happens and there is any treatment for it. It does not matter what I eat. Even small amount triggers the sweating and chills but it only happens at nights and severely disrupts my eating. I have Lyme and also Autonomic dysfunction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The clue here is that you get them at night. My bet is that if you didn't eat, you'd still get them.

I have them too... come on in the evening more. Sweats and chills. All night long sometimes.

It's babesia, a Co infection of lyme.

Have you been tested for co infections?

i had the same problem. anything i ate caused sweating, especially facial sweating. it began to improve gradually from the antibiotics for me. after about four months, it is much less severe when it happens and it happens less frequently (maybe 4-5 times a week). i have not been able to tie it to food types or amounts.
