I just realized I've had alot of the symptoms for many years and didn't know they were Lyme symptoms.
However, I've had 3 children and none of them have Lyme symptoms.
Is it possible? Or does it always result in passing it along? I even breastfed my last one.

If your children are not having any symptoms, then I wouldn't worry about it for now. We have enough to worry about without adding more worry to our plates.

My kids didn't get Lyme from me and I had it when I was pregnant. I didn't get diagnosed until years later. I breastfed them all (except the adopted one).
One of my kids got Lyme from a tick bite.

Yes, it's possible to not transmit it. Even with HIV, only about 25% of babies end up getting it from their mothers.
With Lyme, the % is thought to be a little higher (if no antibiotics during pregnancy/breastfeeding) according to my Lyme doc...maybe as high as 50%. However, if your children aren't showing symptoms, that's a good sign. You generally only treat if they show symptoms, because if they have exposure, their bodies may be handling it fine.

Okay. My kids are 2, 6 & 7 years old.
Then I started thinking about their medical history.
My 7 year old had bronchitis twice in last 2 years and pneumonia twice in last 2 years. That was followed by the bronchitis.
He's also had allergies, asthma and gets bad eczema.
My 2 year old has elevated liver enzymes. We had him to a liver specialist who couldn't find anything wrong with him or his liver.
I actually thought it could be Lyme. However, he has no other symptoms.
But again this summer right before my infection he had what looked exactly like a bulls eye rash.
Took him to dr. and they ran test and it was negative but gave me 10 days of amoxy just in case.
They said it was a bug bite.
Not from a tick but probably a mosquito or spider.
And that it was not a typical bulls eye. It went away in a couple of days.
So, not sure if what they have experienced could be Lyme or not.
I just thought it odd that my 7 year old had bronchitis and pneumonia twice in 2 years!

Did you get a picture of the rash? Did the doctor run an IGeneX western blot? If so, did you get a copy of the results? I was told mine was negative, yet I had 8 positive bands. Many docs don't do the right tests and don't know how to read them when they do.
It is possible for it not to be passed on, but it is also possible for it to be passed on.
My children are not symptomatic, so I didn't have them tested. But if a child has symptoms, it very well could be Lyme.
I don't think it's that unusual for an asthmatic to have those kind of respiratory problems ... my sister has asthma and it caused a lot of problems when she was young.

I got lyme from vertical (transplacental) transmission and only developped symptoms 25 years later
