My gosh! Today is day 8 of my starting teaseal root tincture. I started with one drop on the first day adding 1 drop a day. Today I will be up to 8 drops.
Tomorrow will be 9... at 3 drops am. 3 drops noon and 3 drops pm.

Yesterday started the real herxing (Day 7)
Much fatigue, muscle and joint pain, sound sensitivity. Last night had foot cramping that felt like gout but went away. Then in the middle of the night I awoke to one wrist and one ankle stiff and very sore. Basically I'm having the same herx reactions I get from abx.

I actually feel like it's working. Really killing things off! But I don't feel toxic.
So far this morning I feel better than I did yesterday, but still herxing some. Then again, I've only had my first dose today.

I may back off back to two drops three times a day if it gets to be too much. But I'm just glad it's actually doing something!

I had intended to restart abx a few weeks ago and just couldn't bring myself to do it. It was like my body was saying "no... not right now".
With this teasel I don't feel that way...it feels like my body WANTS it in some strange way.

Just wanted to share.. I know some have had no success with teasel, but it seems to be doing something for me.

Is teasel good for lyme and coinfections?

I don't know if it's good for co-infections. I just know it's good for chronic Lyme.

Mine is from Won With Nature

I herxed a lot on a tincture that included Teasel. My main symptoms were vertigo that would come and go, and reallllly bad headaches. It got better with time.

Good luck!

I'm currently on teasel root, in combination with Banderol. It initially knocked me down--with primary symptoms being nausea, severe vertigo and nasty heeadaches.

But I did feel like it was working, in an odd way. I also started with 1 drop, and was stunned by the severity of the symptoms.

Each time I've increased the dosage (which my specialist recommended), I've gone through another herx. I'm now up to about 28 drops a day.

I had the same type of reaction to banderol but have just been going a drop at a time.

I feel pretty hopeful that these are both going work in the long run.
