It should be a minimum of 3 days according to my LLMD. I've heard up to 10 days to remove all Coartem from your body. I believe it after my experience!

Coartem may interact with many drugs. You should stop Zithromax 3days before and up to 3days after taking Coartem. When taken together Zith and Coartem may cause a serious heart arrhythmia called prolonged QT interval. You should also avoid taking Diflucan while taking Coartem for the same reason.
It sounds like you may need to double check with your doctor what meds you should stop and what you should continue while taking Coartem. Best to be safe. We're sick enough already, don't want any side effects!
