I have tried searching this but, not working?? Anyhow my husband has recently tested positive/ with a bullseye rash. Has been on one cycle of abx, having more frequent misc. sysptoms, I am trying to convice him to see the dc. since he is having more symptoms. I think he still remains in partial denial. What would night sweats be a symptom for?

I think that's usually babesia.

There are many, many reasons for night sweats. They have always told me I only have Lyme disease.
I had night sweats for two years, and then they just stopped.
Your husband has at least Lyme disease and maybe co-infections. He needs to see a LLMD as soon as possible!!! ASAP
One round of of abx is not enogh...he needs a LLMD.

Night sweats is the classic babesia symptom but other infections can cause it as well. I think the really drenching sweats are more babesia and the sticky sweats are more bartonella but I don't think anyone knows for sure.
If he has lyme, he almost always will have coinfections.

I hope you can talk him into seeing an LLMD. Night sweats are almost always bart or babs and not lyme so he not only did not receive enough abx to treat lyme, he has not addressed the co-infections.
Hot flashes with sticky sweat is bart and profuse sweating is usually babesia. I did not have the drenching sweat and I think I also have babs. - Just sent my blood work in an hour ago.
Don't wait to see what happens. Regular doctors have no idea how to treat. See an LLMD ASAP

Anybody find anything to help the drenching night sweats besides abx? my husband has already done Dr. J protocol for babs but then Dr. switched him to abx for lyme. he is sick of abx so he is taking a break but is drenched every night (having to change pillows and pjs )and even sweating more during the day. I'm looking for alternatives.

I notice that soon after taking my babesia medications (esp. artemesinin) I start having a hot flash, so I assume it's a Babs herx. I've never had drenching sweats though. My hot flashes range from just feeling hot to some sweating and can come at any time of the day, but as I mentioned especially soon after I've taken anti-Babs meds.
