I just read that amoxicillin and minocycline should NOT be taken together, and that is what my doctor has prescribed. Anyone know about this or currently on these at the same time?

did it work for you, and how long were you on them?
Thank you...

I had ups and downs and took many different combos. Those weren't the only two drugs I was on at the time, I also took Malarone, Lariam, Tindamax, probenecid (for the amoxy) and Levaquin. I did make some progress on that due to hitting the bartonella.

"cyclines" and "cilluns" aren't normally Rx'ed together as it's felt 1 can interfere with the action (effectiveness) of the other.

But they're not contraindicated.
My own LLMD once Rx'ed "tetra" to be added to an "amoxy" protocol.
But when things didn't improve, he had me drop it.

Minocycline seems to be the cycline most often combined in protocols. If your M.D. decided on it, I'd go with it for now, though you should certainly feel free to ask your local [older] pharmacist about the combo.
