After my first day on ceftin/biaxin and after using the washroom the next morning i happened to glance in the toilet bowl. To my surprise there were several dark colored short threads some clumped together some not. They seem to be jagged or spirally and look extremely similar to some of the bottom photos on http://www.lymephotos.com/bb/index.html. Is this possible after one day on meds? One of my worst Lyme symptoms is my gut. It just seems too quick, but maybe this should be looked at as a positve confirmation that I am treating the right thing. I was Igenex positive on bands 31, 41 & 58. I was still unsure of the Lyme diagnosis but....I took a sample to my natropath and he sent it to a lab as he is very curious also. Sorry for being graphic.

You are not alone. We've all had weird things at one time.

You cannot see Lyme spirochetes w/naked eye. You probably passed parasites (worms) from you digestive tract. Very common in Lyme patients.

Do a search here for parasites, even Humaworm (an herbal anti-parasite formula).

Many on here have done anti-parasies treaments.

I don't think it's do to one day of ceftin/biaxin, we have all seen some crazy things in the bowl!!!

I think I ad the same thing with chlorella so maybe the drugs are just helping your good bacterias to push out whatever toxic agents are in your bowel...

I don't know what those are. What they're not are Borrelia spirochetes, which, in their classic form, are about .1 microns by 7 microns or something like that. They're as long as a human hair is thick.

whatever they were they looked pretty much identical to the Borrelia burgdorferi photos on the lymephotos.com website (the stringy looking ones at the bottom of the page)Wait and see what the lab says. The lab specializes in parasites and Gi issues so we will see what they have to say.
