Has anyone bought Malarone from Canada? How do we know it is a reputable pharmacy and the meds are not counterfeited? My insurance will not pay for more than a pill a day, I am taking four. It would cost me $1,500 in the U.S. for a month supply. It's INSANE! Any suggestion?

It is a free rx discount program. I use it for all my rx's.
I get 60 Malarone pills for $383 at my loacl grocery store.

Another thing to consider, if this is not still on patent, is to get it from a compounding pharmacy. They can only do this if they can get the pure chemical, which they can only do if it is off patent. Sometimes you will find that compounding pharmacy prices are WAY below regular pharmacy prices.

Sometimes your doctor can fill out a prior authorization or some other type of form in order to get the full dosage for you. Sometimes the insurance company does not tell you that is what you need to do. Also you can file an appeal and your doctor can provide information that shows that this is medically necessary for you.
You might want to call your insurance company and ask them what you can do to try to get them to cover the full dose.

Check current prices at Summit Meds They were cheaper than buying in USA, at the time I ordered. Also, check Canadian drugs Both are reputable companies. Have bought from both.
Malarone is made by Glaxo Smith Kline. When I was buying tablets made in Canada, it took about 10 days from faxing script into them to actually received the meds. It should show the country or origin, on the website, usually Canada or UK. I think the UK is a bit cheaper. The Malarone I received from the Canadian pharmacies were the exact tablet I bought from the local pharmacy. I always ordered the Malarone made in Canada.
You may want to check prices with Costco. I found they were very close in price to the Canadian on line pharmacies. And with Costco you don't have to pay for shipping or wait to receive the tablets in the mail. If most, I had to wait a day since they didn't have enough in stock.
