Just wondering.

I do A LOT of anti-fungals. Nystatin, GSE capsules, Oil of Oregano capsules, and Olive Leaf Extract capsules.

I also brush my tongue nightly and use H2O2 and Listerine (brushing after each.) I end my nightly routine with a probiotic on my toungue.

So far, this has kept the yeast away from my tongue. But could it still be in my gut?

What are the symptoms?

I have a mostly anti-yeast diet except for 1-2 meals a week. Been like this for 7 months..no issues thus far (crossing fingers.)

Thrush is one of the main visual symptoms, as well as rashes and fungal issues. It's also capable of mimicking symptoms that Lyme produces.

I'm not expert, but I'd say unless you have any visual symptoms or noticeable GI issues, it's unlikely you dont have a yeast overgrowth problem.

However, long-term antibiotic use is one of the main causes for developing this problem.

Eat healthy, keep taking probiotics, and you're on some good antifungal supplements. IMO, you're good [Smile]

OH YES, YES, YES. I have never really had thrush... just a slightly whitish looking tongue sometimes.. but never full blown in the past 10 yrs. Never.

But.. I have a bad case of yeast right now. It's getting better, but I still react to even a tiny bit of ARTIFICIAL sweeteners of any kind, or any fruit. Haven't even tried real sugar and won't for quite awhile.

What I mean by the "10 yrs" is that I've had yeast issues knocking at my door since before beginning Lyme treatment. And have never had thrush.

(and as a female, I rarely have the female kind either.. always the gut)
