Everytime I get very angry my skin turns hot and it starts itching like crazy. I sit there itching my hands, legs, back...

Why does this happen? And does it happen to you?

I tested positive for lyme disease and tested negative for all co infections.

I get this also - the hot skin, very warm to the touch, and very itchy lately, and I mean all over itchy. I have never noticed it from anger - it just happens whenever.

Anybody else have ideas on this?

Mine is just random. I have been itchy for a while. Before I was DXed I was always complainging that I was itching everywhere, that was also during the time I always had a low grade fever.

I don't know if it's Lyme or Bart...but I definitely feel it too!

This has been happening to me when I get out of the shower (not with anger though). Odd...

For all of the itchy people out there: My daughter has had EXTREME itching for several years now.

Her LLMD put her on a month of Diflucan last week and the itching is MUCH improved.

If the itching doesn't go away after treating for yeast, we are going to do some type of parasite treatment.

I get itching at random times too, but it usually happens when I got mood swings.

Itchy and depressed. Starting to suspect yeast, as I have gotten a few small patches of soem eczema looking stuff. they tend to show up right next to my nose. I also get small itchy bumps. Have not had a big problem with yeast at all until now.
Its like whack a mole.....PIA

I don't have any yeast issues.

It doesn't matter at all if you've tested negative for all coinfections. Unless you've tested negative for all of them five times--becuase they have less than a 20% accuracy rate, even with IGeneX--you can still have a coinfection. Treat symptoms, not the lab results.

Just reminding you [Smile]

I get bartonella rages, but I've never noticed any change in coloring.

Bartonella

Also, get your eosinophils (part of immune system panel with CBC) checked. Bartonella can cause eosinophilia, an elevation in the type of immune cell which is not only responsible for fighting this parasitic-like bacteria, but also for causing allergies. It's possible you're getting allergy-type symptoms because of elevated eosinophils that are responding to the presence of bart.

I get allergy-type symptoms because of eosinophilia, as the result of bartonella and mycoplasma.
