Hello All;

Gosh every since I started Doxy a week ago I feel like I am in multi-system shut-down!

In addition to the 24/7 headaches, I have been getting these very odd sensations only at night during sleep. It is a painful surge of adrenaline that flushes through my body and actually causes pain in my bones. They last about 30 seconds and then subside.

Like what is that? I am also on Cortef 5mg.'s and wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Just curious if anyone has ever experienced this? It also comes with a rush of sweat/heat throughout my body.

I don't get this during the day - only at night.

Any thoughts???? Thanks.

Hum... Possibly sleep apnea? Your bodies way of waking you up if/when you stop breathing?

Most certainly could be lyme or co. related especially given you just started Doxy.

I would report it to your LLMD. TG

While I am trying to fall asleep at night, I would have these rushes hit me that felt like I was falling through the bed. Starts from the head down to the toes. Not really painful, but certainly uncomfortable and sends anxiety through my body.

It's improved a ton with treatment, and I barely notice it. I would guess it's related to Babesia.

Yes, I too wondered about breathing issues but have no hx of sleep apnea. Adrenal issues is a good thought..

I was wondering about Babesia as well because I get sweats. I don't feel any anxiety when it hits or before I go to sleep but it is starting to give me anxiety as it is very uncomfortable!

When I was on Biaxin I did not get them - wondering if Biaxin was taking care of the Babesia but now that I am off it is getting bad again..

Thanks for your feedback.
