Well, I've known I had HPV for sometime. I had a couple warts in my past, but nothing that couldn't be taken care of quickly. I also understand that HPV usually only produces warts in those who are immuno-compromised.
Well, I've got a more serious case now flaring up. Not, the most comfortable thing to discuss
Should I tell my LLMD first, or go see a specialist in this area to get treated. Are there antivirals that can help with the treatment of HPV in my situation? Sigh...

About your headline, if it's true viruses can come out during treatment. I'd say yes. I read a interesting piece on Dr. Brewer who thought that during a herx, the XMRV virus could get more active.

I have ordered products from Dr. J (Hansa Center) before and am always impressed.
I received and email from them last week promoting a cold/flu remedy for the season, but the last line caught my eye...
"Microbojen, Lymogen, and Virogen have helped me and my family, plus thousands of patients fight off pesky sickness that gets passed around this time of year. Click on the hyperlinks to see more info on Lymogen and Microbojen (my bacteria and virus remedies) so you can see the power behind these babies. Virogen (a virus only remedy) is a simple remedy and the oldest (for Jernigan Nutraceuticals) and greatest, which is why we put it in our Borrelogen formula. Virogen has helped the body heal itself from all kinds of viruses, from herpes to hepatitis to a sniffle for kids and babies."
Maybe it's worth checking out?

I had one of my daughters take Quintessence (by Biopure, I think??) and her warts went away.
It didn't work for my other two daughters. We, unfortunately, have a wart outbreak here ......
I'm thinking the one who it did work for might have been the best about taking it. Quintessence is a combination of herbs that are similar to the ones Buhner recommends in Healing Lyme.

Page 62 - and try to go through the whole power point to help you understand what Lyme is all about.
Be especially careful with any EMF exposure Viruses flourish in that type of surrounding. If a microwave tower transmits through your bedroom window, it's time to change location.
Good luck. Take care.

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions.
Thanks 17hens.
Six, how long did she take Quintessence? What brand and dose? Do you mind asking her how long it took to work? =X
Gigi, I found it really interesting that Alpha Lipoic Acid was listed as a treatment for Mold Biotoxin in Dr. K's Guide.
I had a slight problem with ALA, it gives me a pretty intense headache.. But, I also tried a higher than usual recommended dose -- 300mg.
Does that suggest anything about my disease?
Canefan, did this combo work for you personally?

This is an older post, but I developed my first wart ever late in the summer this past summer...maybe in August? And now I found a second one close to the first. Both are located on my left hand, on "the pointy finger", and are on the knuckle closest to my fingernail. Neither appear cauliflower-like, just smooth bumps.
I'm currently trying the clear nail polish method during the day and the duct tape method at night. I can't wear the duct tape during the day...long story...can't with my OCD...
I tried those salicylic acid patches...nothing.
I tried freezing them. The newest one got blistery, but I swear the older one enjoyed being frozen? It didn't even get red or scab? Looks untouched?
I also started taking l-lysine and sarsaparilla, along with restarting zinc and vitamin C. It's too early to tell, and I may just be having a good couple of days, but I swear it is helping some of my symptoms?...not the warts yet though...

Wolfed Out,
I'm starting it soon.
I've done a plentiful amount of research.
If you were to leave on out - leave Chapparal out and go with Pau D Arco and Andrographis. potent anti-viral combo right there

I believe that my HPV is going away with an herbal supplement that my EDS practitioner uses. It is called Essential Detox, Badmaev-269.
Based on the testing on my husband and me, we believe it is disappearing. If you have access to muscle testing or electrodermal screening, try it. I am convinced that it works.
My practitioner says this product can completely eradicate HPV from your body. I have been taking 1 tablet three times daily for 4 months and am seeing good progress. My husband's case was not as bad and he got rid of his in about 3 months total.

Thanks, tickbattler. I'll look it up. I was trying the apple cider vinegar treatment, but with my OCD-handwashing coupled with the apple cider vinegar and this cold weather, my skin was getting too raw, making me worry about the virus spreading to other fingers. I will definitely look into it.
One website though said that I will eventually be immune to this virus eventually? While another said that, even if I do get rid of these, I can always be reinfected? Which is it?

Elizza- My youngest daughter had numerous warts that popped up on her knuckles and fingers for years. Nothing helped, but a product called Duofilm. We tried the freeze at the dermatology office, duct tape, other OTC wart remover products-no luck. The Duofilm worked lke magic.
Posted by elizzza811 (Member # 24713) on :
Thanks, how is the Duofilm different from the regular salicylic acid though? I tried the salicylic acid patches already. Is it stronger than the patches?...because these warts laugh at the patches. And I swear the one wart especially didn't even look injured the last two times I froze it.
